Rockport Public Library accepts donations for Friends of the Library book sales during most of the year. Accepted material includes gently used books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and puzzles in good condition. The current policy excludes moldy or musty items, VHS and cassette tapes, magazines, encyclopedias, and technology, medical, health or reference books more than four years old. Donations are limited to three bags or boxes per family every four months, and the library may temporarily pause intake while storage is reorganized. Executors should call before bringing estate books or media, particularly if the quantity approaches the published limit.

Save a trip! Call Friends of the Rockport Public Library Book Donation Program first to confirm hours and that they are accepting what you’re bringing.
