Market Street Mission Clothing Drop-Off – Montville Reformed Church

Official Market Street Mission satellite donation access point accepting clothing only. This is a drop-off site rather than the main thrift-store donation dock; use the parent organization contact for donation questions.

About the Organization & Community Impact

Market Street Mission uses donated goods as part of a broader ministry serving people who are homeless, hungry or struggling with addiction. Its programs include meals, shelter and long-term recovery services, and the thrift operation helps generate revenue that supports that work. Clothing collected at satellite drop-off points is routed into the Mission’s donation and resale system rather than remaining with the host municipality or church. The Mission can also use merchandise to assist people through vouchers and other direct-help arrangements. For estate donors, a bag of usable clothing therefore has several possible benefits: it can remain in circulation through resale, generate program funding, or help meet an immediate material need. The donation supports a longstanding local organization focused on food, shelter, recovery and rebuilding lives.
