The Salvation Army’s official Louisiana location page lists a Shreveport Thrift Store at 147 East Stoner Avenue. Salvation Army thrift operations are designed to receive reusable donated goods, including gently used clothing, household items, furniture, electronics, books and related resale merchandise. For an estate donation, item condition and local capacity remain important: donors should verify receiving hours and ask specifically about large furniture, appliances, older electronics and unusually large quantities before transporting them.

Thrift-store donations and purchases help fund Salvation Army programs serving people in need. The Stoner Avenue store provides an additional Caddo Parish donation access point alongside other local mission drop-offs already in the statewide list. Use the official local contact to confirm current donation procedures, because receiving rules can vary by location even when an item category is generally accepted by Salvation Army thrift programs.
