About the Organization & Community Impact

Bridge Thrift Store is part of Bridge the Gap, Inc., a nonprofit compassionate ministry associated with Bridgeton First Church of the Nazarene. Bridge the Gap works to connect individuals and families with resources and opportunities through its thrift store, learning center and community outreach. The store operates entirely on donated merchandise and offers those goods to the public at very reasonable prices. The larger ministry also participates in programs such as school-supply and uniform assistance, community clothing and household support, disaster relief, Code Blue efforts and other local outreach. A donation therefore serves two purposes: it keeps useful goods in circulation at affordable prices and supports a community-based ministry designed to help households manage practical needs and move toward greater stability.
