About the Organization & Community Impact

This thrift store operates in connection with Catholic Charities, whose social-service work is centered on assisting people and families facing poverty, instability and other difficult circumstances. A charitable thrift operation gives donated goods continued usefulness by making everyday items available at low cost while helping sustain a service-oriented community presence. The Penns Grove source currently confirms the store’s operation but does not publish a detailed formula showing how individual sales are allocated, so donors should not assume a particular program receives each dollar. The broader community value is nevertheless practical: reusable goods stay out of disposal, local shoppers gain access to affordable necessities, and the store supports a charitable network focused on helping neighbors in need.
