About the Organization & Community Impact

The UrbanPromise Thrift Store is operated by UrbanPromise Ministries Community Development and generates funding for UrbanPromise programs and emergency family-care needs. UrbanPromise works with children, teens and families in the Camden area, using education, youth development and community support to create opportunities for young people to reach their potential. Donated clothing, household goods and approved furniture become resale inventory whose value helps sustain that mission. For estate donors, the shop provides a practical second-life outlet for usable belongings while directing the resulting revenue toward youth and family programs rather than a commercial resale business. The combination of affordable shopping, reuse and program funding allows a household donation to contribute to community development and educational opportunity.
