About the Organization & Community Impact

Yesterday’s Treasures is a nonprofit upscale resale shop that supports the Hunterdon Health Foundation, the fundraising organization for Hunterdon Health. Donations and purchases help the Foundation assist Hunterdon Medical Center in meeting the community’s need for high-quality healthcare. The shop is largely volunteer-staffed and is particularly well suited to estate and downsizing donations such as furniture, art, jewelry, antiques and home décor. Hunterdon Health also notes that items that do not ultimately sell may be redirected to other local charities when they can be better used elsewhere. For estate donors, the program therefore offers a strong reuse pathway: valuable household items remain in circulation, proceeds support local healthcare, and some unsold goods can continue on to other community organizations rather than being discarded.
